Unit 3: Blog Question 1

Based on your reflections, and on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being optimal well being), where do you rate your A-physical well being, B-spiritual well-being, C-psychological well-being? Why?

Physical well-being: 5
Lately I have been traveling quite a bit (I'm a flight attendant on a private jet) and I have slacked on my workout routine. It's hard to do anything, especially physical activity because I'm on call every day and have a limited time to get where I need to be. After a long day I just want to go to bed- working on a plane with little sleep is brutal!

Spiritual well-being: 8
In the last few years I have become more spiritual. I have eliminated a lot of the negative people in my life and surrounded myself with those who have good energy, a positive outlook on life and have the same religious beliefs as I do.

Psychological well-being: 8
In the past I have dealt with severe bouts of anxiety and depression. However, I have come along way since high school and a few unfortunate events that were the direct result of my naive navigation into the modeling world. I have worked through these hardships and today I am happier than I have ever been.

  1. That is very interesting findings for your psychological and spiritual health. I have also struggled with anxiety and depression over the years. It is very genetic and many in my family suffer. I am so glad to see you are happier. I am too!

  2. You made an interested point about removing negative people in your life. It is important to not only surround yourself with positive people but people of like minds. I try to attend church weekly and learn and grow in a positive way and learned I need to surround myself with people that are on the same path as I am. People are either going to pull you their way or they are going to go your way. Negativity is like fungis, once you get a little on you, it can spread throughout the body and take years to clear it up.
